Advantages:
- Speed-It is the first multi process browser, which means every new tab or plug-in means there is a new process created
- Stability- In case one of the tabs or plug-ins crash, all of the other processes going on survive. And you can get a process manager
- Lightweight- Chrome uses less memory than other browsers do, and also the process manager can help detect memory hogs.
- Safety- You can browse privately and securely without writing a single file into your cache or cookies or history.
- New User Interface: easy installation and very user friendly configuration
Disadvantages:
- Beta-This is just the first beta product that is out to the public, so it might not show all web pages.
- Missing Featrues- Things like bookmark management, and password management are missing from Google Chrome, and these are staples for most other browsers.
- Missing Extensions- Just as it is true with the features, some plug-ins and extensions are not quite availible yet on Chrome.
- Privacy Issues- Google already owns about 70 percent of web based advertising and 60 percent web based queries. Google will have the power to profile you whenever they want.
- User Interface- Even though it might be new and user friendly, there are still some problems with the new system such as poor tab management and other issues have not been addressed yet.
